Who is SecureView for?
- Homeowners who already have IP cameras and want one Windows dashboard for all of them.
- Small businesses and shops that want local recording without a monthly cloud plan.
- Job sites, workshops and offices that need a spare PC to act as a simple camera monitoring station.
- Anyone replacing a camera manufacturer's app with a single viewer that works across ONVIF brands.
How does SecureView work?
Install SecureView
Download SecureView for free from the Microsoft Store on a Windows 11 PC that is on the same network as your cameras.
Add your cameras
Let SecureView find ONVIF cameras automatically with WS-Discovery, or add a camera manually with its IP address, RTSP/ONVIF details and login. Credentials are stored in Windows Credential Manager.
Set up motion detection
For each camera, choose the motion sensitivity, mask areas you want to ignore, and pick what happens on motion: take a photo, start recording, sound an alarm or send an email.
Monitor and review
Watch up to 8 live feeds in the dashboard or full-screen on any monitor, then browse and play back recordings and snapshots in the built-in media library.

Video from your cameras is decoded and recorded locally on your PC. ZenByte Apps does not run servers that receive your footage, camera passwords are kept in Windows Credential Manager, and OneDrive backup is optional and goes directly to your own account.
SecureView FAQ
Is SecureView free?
Yes. SecureView is free to download from the Microsoft Store, and it does not require a cloud subscription. Recordings are saved to a folder on your own PC.
Which cameras work with SecureView?
SecureView works with IP cameras that support ONVIF or provide an RTSP video stream. Most modern network security cameras support at least one of these. Check your camera's specifications or manual for "ONVIF" or "RTSP" support.
How many cameras can SecureView show at once?
You can monitor up to 8 IP cameras at the same time in one dashboard, and open any camera full-screen on any connected monitor.
Does SecureView need the internet or a cloud account?
No. Viewing and recording work over your local network. An internet connection is only used for optional features such as OneDrive backup and email alerts.
Where does SecureView save recordings?
Recordings and snapshots are saved to the media folder you choose in Settings. You can browse, filter and play them back in SecureView's built-in media library, or open them in File Explorer.
What happens when SecureView detects motion?
For each camera you choose the actions: take a photo, start recording for a set number of minutes, play an audio alarm and/or send an email notification. You can also mask areas of the image to ignore.
Does SecureView support PTZ cameras?
Yes. SecureView includes pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) controls for cameras that support PTZ.
How does SecureView store camera passwords?
Camera usernames and passwords are stored using Windows Credential Manager, which encrypts them and ties them to your Windows account. They are never sent to ZenByte Apps.
What are the system requirements for SecureView?
SecureView needs Windows 11 version 26100.0 or later and about 378 MB of disk space. A GPU that supports hardware video decoding helps when running several camera streams at once.
